Transcript:

PAVILION, SELSEY. In "THE WEB," a romance-murder story to be presented on Monday for three days, love interest is provided by Ella Raines and Edmond O'Brien an attorney hired as a bodyguard while they busy themselves trying to solve two murders. In the process they manage to tangle themselves in a network of circumstantial evidence that seems sure to send them both to the gallows until William Bendix, as a police lieutenant, does the unexpected. Brimming over with humour and exotic glamour is "SLAVE GIRL" - co-starring George Brent and Yvonne De Carlo, which completes the week's entertainment. Filmed in Technicolor, it traces the adventures of an American "gay blade" who is sent to Tripoli with gold to ransom a group of American seamen captured by the Pasha.
