PAVILION. SELSEY. "KNOCK ON WOOD" Is the latest Danny Kaye comedy. and like the rest, it has made a good impression on the public and critics alike. Also starring in the Technicolor production is Mai Zetterling in her first American film. Danny Kaye plays Jerry Morgan, a famed international entertainer and ventriloquist. While fulfilling a Paris night club engagement, he is alarmed to discover his dummy talking back to him, apparently without Danny's control! When his manager advises him to seek psychiatric help, Jerry flies to Zurich for a conference with a famous psychoanalyst. Unknown to Jerry, however, a gang of international spies have secreted inside the heads of his two dummies plans for an atomic weapon which have been stolen from the French government, "HAPPY EVER AFTER" is a British comedy starring David Niven, Yvonne de Carlo, Barry Fitzgerald, George Cole, Robert Urquhart and A. E. Matthews.
