SELSEY. IMPS' ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Conservative Junior Imperial League took place at the Pavilion on Tuesday last. Mr. E. G. Arnell, J.P., the President, presiding. The following officials were appointed: Mr. E. G. Arnell, J.P., President; Capt. W. C. Mathew, Vice-President; Miss J. Maidment, Chairman, Mr. D. Dennis, Vice-Chairman; Mr. H. Sherrington, Treasurer; Miss K. Blackman, Hon. Secretary. The accounts were adopted. BRITISH LEGION.—The annual meeting was held at the Pavilion on Monday. Mr. H. Prior, the Chairman, and about 40 members were present. The accounts showed that the financial condition of the branch was very satisfactory. It was decided, with the approval of the Rector, to keep the Branch Standard in the Parish Church. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. H. P. Latham; a number of Vice-Presidents; Chairman. Mr. H. Prior; Vice-Chairman, Mr. W. Simpson; Treasurer, Major R. J. Lamb; Hon. Secretary, Mr. C. E. Vince; Assistant Secretary, Mr. H. W. Long. The Secretary was requested to make the usual arrangements for a combined church parade on Armistice Sunday. It was announced that owing to ill-health Mrs. Humphrys would not be able to undertake the organization for the sale of poppies this year. This was received with regret, and it was decided to write and thank Mrs. Humphrys for her past services. Mrs. O. Bryan had intimated her willingness to organize the sale this year, which offer was gratefully accepted.
