Transcript:

PAVILION, SELSEY. "WONDER MAN," with Danny Kaye, is the chief attraction at the Selsey Pavilion, on Monday next, for three days. Danny plays the complicated double role of a New York night club entertainer, Buzzy Bellew who is shot dead on the eve of his wedding, and of his twin brother, Edwin, who is contacted by Buzzy's ghost and told to impersonate him and find the murderer. For the second half of the week "THE OVERLANDERS" is the chief attraction. "THE OVERLANDERS" has an all- Australian cast, but finding these actors and actresses was no easy task for there is no large pool of film talent in Australia. The cast was eventually drawn from every walk in life—they were discovered in the street, in cafes, amateur shows, radio auditions, by photographs and application. The result is an outstanding film, which has been acclaimed by film audiences all over the country.
