PAVILION, SELSEY. THE colour and thrills of the bull-ring are to be found in "THE BRAVE AND THE BEAUTIFUL." Anthony Quinn is haunted by fear for the life of the boy he is expected to initiate as a matador. Seeing what he believes to be omens of his pupil's death, he runs away from his! responsibilities as the crowds gather to watch the bull-fight. He is helped in his search for a hiding place by a rich young American girl (Maureen O'Hara) and it is to her that he tells the secret of his concern for the boy. John Bentley, Donald Houston and Rona Anderson star in "THE FLAW." the story of a well-known racing motorist. Paul Oliveri, who married a beautiful rich girl, Monica Crewson. Oliveri has married the girl for her money, and in the first year of their marriage he obtains £20,000 from his wife. By playing on Monica's love and trust, Oliveri induces her to make a will in his favour, leaving him her money, and he decides to take her abroad where an "accident" will leave him safe and free. Jane Wyman and Rock Hudson, who proved such a successful team in "Magnificent Obsession," star in " ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS " with even greater success. This Technicolor drama brings Jane and Rock together in a heart-touching romance. It is a sincere love story set against the gossiping tongues and petty snobberies of a small American town, a romance which almost founders on the rocks of club society but finally wins through to true happiness. Jane Wyman gives a warm portrayal of the well-to-do widow falling head-over-heels in love with a young gardener (Rock Hudson), One of the most popular British comedies since the war returns next week. It is "GENEVIEVE," filmed in Technicolor, with Dinah Sheridan, John Gregson, Kay Kendall and Kenneth More. The plot concerns the London to Brighton veteran car race. Alan McKim, a young barrister, and his neighbour and rival, Ambrose Claverhouse, say such rude things about each other's cars that they wager £ 100 on the return journey. The race turns into a free-for-all in which the drivers do everything to win short of draining the petrol from each other's tanks. "DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE." the British Technicolor comedy about life among medical students. includes Dirk Bogarde, Muriel Pavlow, Kenneth More, Donald Sinden, Kay Kendall, James Robertson Justice and Donald Houston. The story revolves around Simon Sparrow (Bogarde), a young medical student, who does more than achieve a medical education. He also masters the other hazards of a medical student's life—fiery ward sisters, frightening surgeons, over-knowledgeable patients, pretty nurses, and the eccentricities of his own companions.
