Wireless Installation – Chichester Observer – Wednesday, 16 May 1923
Transcript:

Due recognition is being given locally to the merits of wireless as an entertaining medium. On Sunday night an appreciative audience at the Marine Hotel, enjoyed an excellent musical programme, comprising broadcasted selections, first from Paris and then from Holland, a loud speaker being used in connection with the receiving apparatus. At the Pavilion a set is being installed, with view to, among other entertainments, providing the music for dances, when circumstances permit.
