PAVILION, SELSEY. Master showman Samuel Goldwyn's genius for human appeal in his productions attains a new peak with "THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES," a gripping story deftly offset with humour—of ex-servicemen returning to a typical community, there to be faced with the varied emotional experiences arising from their re-union with the women in their lives. This Academy Award winning picture, which comes to the Pavilion on Monday for six days, concerns three demobilised ex-servicemen; they are an Infantry sergeant (Frederick March), an Air Force captain (Dana Andrews) and a sailor who has lost both hands (Harold Russell). Myrna Loy and Teresa Wright are co-starred.
