Charity Film Show – Chichester Observer – Saturday, 06 May 1944
Transcript:

Mis. Wills Rust is very kindly giving a special matinee in aid of the Red Cross and St. John Joint War Organisation to meet the needs of the “second front." It is on May 12th, at 2.30, at the Pavilion, and a great treat is in store for those who go to see “THE GREAT WALTZ,” starring Louise Rainer. Mrs Wills Rust will be at the booking office at the Pavilion every day next week (May 8th-12th) from 11.30 to 12.30. It is hoped that everyone who can will support this special effort, and apart from seeing a very wonderful and lovely film at usual prices, you will not have to stand in queue to get in, but can book your seat in advance.
