Whist Drive – Chichester Observer – Wednesday, 30 November 1921
Transcript:

ST. DUNSTAN’S NATIONAL WHIST CHAMPIONSHIP. In view of the great local interest which is being evinced in the St. Dunstan’s National Whist Tournament, which Sir Arthur Pearson has organized to support his work for the welfare of the ex-Service and civilian blind, and in view of our desire to help that work forward, we are pleased to give space to announce that a further drive in this district will take place at The Pavilion, High Street, Selsey, on Thursday, Dec. 1st at 7.30. Messrs. Chrippes & Cleere, of the Pavilion, Selsey, Sussex, have very generously undertaken the organization of this drive, and will gladly give all information, and supply tickets. The drive will also be followed by a dance.
