SELSEY. Christmas Fair. Under the direction of members the United Methodist Church, Selsey, the annual Christmas Fair was held at the Pavilion on Thursday, and there was excellent attendance. As a result over £45 was realised for the U.M. Church Funds. An excellent programme was presented, keenly appreciated feature of which was the violin solos Miss Annette Ellis. accompanied by the Rev. K. H. MacDermott, A.R.C.M. Mr. W. Martin delighted all with his excellent conjuring performance, and several musical items by the choir were also well received. Everyone received gifts from a gigantic Christmas tree, and the stalls were well patronised. The stallholders were: Bran tub, the Misses Bromley; sweet stall, the young people; household stall, Mrs. Clayton; advertisement stall, Mrs. Hicks; refreshment stall, Mrs. Woodlands. Altogether, it was a most pleasant evening, and the organizers are to be congratulated on the result.
