PAVILION, SELSEY. IN the British production "THE WEAK AND THE WICKED." Glynis Johns portrays a Mayfair socialite whose gambling habits result in a 12-month prison sentence. During the harsh routine behind the grey walls, her depression is relieved by the friendships she makes. John Gregson, Diana Dors, Jane Hylton, and A. E Matthews are also in the cast. The efforts of a woman to get rid of her sick husband so that she can inherit his money, results in murder in the British drama. "THE HOUSE ACROSS THE LAKE." Alex Nicol, Hillary Brooke, and Susan Stephen are starred. Wilfred Pickles makes his film debut In the comedy, "THE GAY DOG," also starring Petula Clark. He portrays Jim Gay, a miner who owns a greyhound with a good racing record. On the day of a big race, Jim Gay's relatives back his dog. Jim favours another and secretly puts his money on it and when this dog romps home the relatives determine to wreak their vengeance.
