PAVILION, SELSEY. "TAKE ME TO TOWN" is a Technicolor musical comedy starring Ann Sheridan and Stirling Hayden. The film is set in lumber-jack country in the 1870's. Will Hall (Hayden) is a widower trying to bring up his three sons. A prim widow, Mrs. Stoffer, has matrimonial designs on Hall, but the boys dislike her. They decide to visit the town of Timberville to find someone they think would make a better mother. and they come across Vermillian O'Toole (Ann Sheridan), a third-rate variety artist escaping from the law. She seizes the opportunity to hide in the boys' home, but when father returns there are some amusing complications . . . Set on a Pacific island, "EAST OF SUMATRA" is an exciting Technicolor adventure, starring Jeff Chandler, Marilyn Maxwell, Anthony Quinn and Susan Ball. " MY WIFE'S LODGER" is a British comedy starring Diana Dors, Dominic Roche, Olive Sloane and Leslie Dwyer. The story concerns Willie Higginbottom who returns home after six years overseas Army service and receives an icy reception from his family. His position has been usurped by Roger, the lodger . . McDonald Hobley. of TV fame, makes his cinema debut in "THE KILTIES ARE COMING," a film about the Royal Kiltie Juniors, a group of youngsters from all parts of the country who entertain with folk songs, Gaelic airs, " hit" swing tunes and classical pieces. Farrar, and Peter Graves. On Friday evening, a talent competition will be held on the stage beginning about 7.45 p.m. There will be only one film programme, beginning at 6.30 p.m.
