Prisoner of War Week with Barbara Mullen – Chichester Observer – Saturday, 28 November 1942
Transcript:

Cinema Matinee. Monday. November 30th starts our Prisoner of War Week with Barbara Mullen making a personal appearance at the Pavilion Cinema when Mrs Wilis Rust presents “JEANNIE,” a charming Scotch Cinderella story which will enchant old and young alike, Barbara Mullen hails from the Isle of Aran, and well supplied with the famous Irish wit and charm. It is particularly kind of someone who is as much in demand for films, plays and broadcasts as she is to come down to Selsey and open our Week for us, and we hope her effort will be rewarded by a crowded house.
