Transcript:

PAVILION, SELSEY. FAMOUS for his roles In "The Third Man" and "The Clouded Yellow,” Trevor Howard will thrill audiences at the Selsey Pavilion for the first part of next week when he co-stars with the new French star, Anouk, in “GOLDEN SALAMANDER." Trevor Howard plays the part of a young archaeologist who is sent to North Africa to supervise the dispatch of valuable collection of antiques, while Anouk plays the proprietress of the “Cafe des Amis.” Suspense is the keynote of the adventures set in the mystic background of the Middle East. For the rest of the week, the famous song-and-dance team, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, appear in "THE BARKLEYS OF BROADWAY," a gay Technicolor production. The film provides nine joyous musical numbers and Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto in B flat minor, played by Oscar Levant and accompanied by a 100-piece symphony orchestra.
