PAVILION, SELSEY. THE programme for the first part of the week. "CONGO CROSSING" and "RAW EDGE." is reviewed under Regal, Petworth. A young baby is left by his nannie in a pram outside a chemist's shop. When the nannie returns a few moments later, baby and pram are gone . . "LOST," starring David Knight and Julia Arnall tells the story of the search for the 19-month-old baby and of the anguished torment suffered by the young parents who are the victims of the "baby-snatcher." The savage conflict of a frontier town plunged into battle by the incompatible factions of farmers and cattlemen. is brought to the screen in "STAR IN THE DUST," starring John Agar, Mamie Van Doren, and Richard Boone. Dale Robertson, Sally Forrest, Lillie St Cyr and Vincent Price star in "SON OF SINBAD,' a tale of Eastern adventure set in scenes of Oriental splendour. Sinbad and his friend, Omar, are caught when they visit the harem of the Khalif once too often. They are sentenced to death and imprisoned in the dungeons. Murid, the barbarian emissary of Tammerlane the Cruel, arrives in Baghdad and informs the Khalif that if he does not surrender the city, Tammerlane will destroy it. The Khalif is panic-stricken. but Aristides, an old Greek scholar, tells him he knows of a secret Greek Fire a weapon with which Tammerlane can be conquered. He promises to reveal his secret in return for freedom for himself, his daughter, Omar and Sinbad. The Khalif agrees.
