PAVILION, SELSEY. "DISTANT DRUMS" (Sunday and Monday) stars Gary Cooper in a Technicolor adventure film. Cooper portrays an Army captain who leads a small group of soldiers in a long flight from the enemy across the swamps of Florida in I940. Robert Taylor and Denise Darrel are in "WESTWARD THE WOMEN" (Tuesday and Wednesday), a film set in America during the pioneering period in the middle of the last century. The story concerns the adventures of a wagon train of women who cross 2,000 miles of desolate country to make homes for men who have settled in the Californian Valley. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the attraction is "THAT'S MY BOY" starring the comedy pair Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis The plot concerns the son of a former football star, far less robust than his father, who goes to college. Much to everyone's pleasant surprise, he plays an important part in winning a crucial game.
