Transcript:

The League of Nations. The Pavilion Hall was crowded Wednesday evening to hear Major Evans Davis speak at the League of Nations Union. Alderman Apps was unfortunately prevented from coming. The Rev. Warne spoke on disarmaments, Mr. Bailey was elected Chairman again and the Misses Shackle Secretary, Treasurer. The Committee was again elected en bloc. The concert that followed refreshments was very enjoyable.
