The Treloar Dance. The financial result of the Treloar dance this year will be over £70, I understand, and Mrs. Barford, who organised it, is to be heartily congratulated on such a splendid result. That the evening was successful was beyond a doubt, and the following ladies who so ably presided over the refreshments added in no small measure to this success; Mesdames E. Jones, F, Hobson, and E. Holloway. Mrs. E. Jones kindly presented the prizes as follows; —Gentlemen: 1, Eric Bransby Williams (Ikey Isaacs, pawnbroker); 2, Mr. Boothe-Jones (Sheik); 3. Mr. Peter Hare (Chef). Best advertisement: Lady, Mrs. Keep (Black and White). Men, Mr. Ronald Edwards (Tatler). No greater tribute to the splendid way the whole thing was carried through can be had than the fact that one of the guests of the evening was so charmed with the dance and all the arrangements that he sent a cheque to defray the expenses of the ball and orchestra.
