WHIST DRIVE.—The Selsey Conservative and Unionist Association held a very successful whist drive in the Pavilion on Thursday (16th inst.), there being 37 tables occupied by players. During the first half an interval was arranged to enable Miss Brew, a speaker from the London Central Office, to give a very interesting short speech. the subject being "Unemployment Insurance." Mr. C. Goodwin acted as M.C., and the prizes were distributed by Mrs. K. S. Deeble, to the following winners: Miss B. Lawrence, Miss C. Lamb, Miss Kite, Miss Wansborough, Miss Blackman, Mrs. Carpenter, Mr. Cole. Mrs. Pratt. Dr. P. C. Barford, Mr. J. Donald. son, Mr. Forsyth, and Mrs. Mitchell.
