Matters become complicated when he is given, as his interpreter, Lieut Catherine Gates (Ann Sheridan), with whom be has been involved in many previous troubles. The supporting programme includes the latest "MARCH OF TIME". Bud Abbott and Lou Costello provide their usual hilarious entertainment in “THE NOOSE HANGS HIGH,” which is the main feature for the second part of the week. Bud and Lou, in this epic are employed as window cleaners, a shady bookmaker, some thugs, and 50,000 dollar gambling debt being involved in the story. The end of the picture almost ends the lives of the two comics, for they are about to be thrown into a river while encased in cement. A timely rescue is arranged.
