PAVILION, SELSEY. ROBERT TAYLOR and Eleanor Parker head the cast in "MANY RIVERS TO CROSS," an exciting Western. Foot-loose and fancy free, Bushrod Gentry enjoys lusty pioneer life in Kentucky. where there are plenty of game, plenty of women, and plenty of drink, with Indians to keep a man on his toes. But Mary Cherne, a beautiful redhead, who shoots and traps like a man, wants him to marry her and settle down. When she pretends that Bushrod has jilted her, her fire-eating father, Cadmus and her four strapping brothers force Bushrod at rifle point to marry Mary. The ceremony over, he takes off into the wilderness alone, followed by Mary. Anthony Steel, Peter Finch and Diane Cilento star in "PASSAGE HOME." The pageantry, intrigue and conflict which characterized Mexico under the rule of the ill-fated Emperor Maximilian supplies the background of "VERA CRUZ," in Technicolor and SuperScope. Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster portray two rough, tough, gunslingers who are ready to sell their services to the highest bidder in the Mexican revolution of 1866. The two men form a partnership not because of a bond of friendship, but because neither can outwit or outshoot the other.
